What we collect

• Locally on your device: your daily-completion records, streak state, settings (palette, font, text size), and Plus subscription status. These live in your browser's localStorage on the puzzle.day origin. You can clear them via your browser's site-data controls.
• If you sign in with a Plus subscription: the email address you sign in with, your subscription's renewal date, and the per-game completion records that drive the global leaderboards. We store these in Firebase Firestore under the puzzle-day-prod project.

What we don't collect

• No third-party advertising trackers.
• No behavioural-ad cookies.
• No location data.
• No contact-list or device-fingerprint collection.

Analytics

Anonymous first-party telemetry tracks aggregate puzzle-start / puzzle-complete counts to help us tune difficulty and detect generator bugs. Sensible session-id only; no cross-site / cross-day tracking cookies. Plus subscribers can opt out from the Settings sheet.

Data deletion

Email [email protected] from the account address and we'll permanently delete every record we have on you within 30 days.
